The Board of Directors at London Volleyball Club bring together at least 3, but not more than 5, amazing individuals from our community looking to support the organization’s mission and values.
The Board of Directors holds six (6) Board Meetings and one (1) Annual General Meeting throughout each season, produces an Annual Report once per season, oversees complaints and violations of Code of Conducts, and helps support the ongoing operations of the club aligned with the club’s values, mission, and vision.
The President acts as the Chair of the Board of Directors and is the general manager of the Club, working to supervise its processes and direct its personnel to ensure all activities are compliant with the mission and organizational culture of the Club. The President can also act as the Executive Director of the Club, should the individual and Board agree to the dual role. Here is the role description:
The Secretary acts to facilitate efficient and effective organizational governance. The Secretary prioritizes the scheduling and logistics involved with Board of Directors meetings and the club Annual General Meeting. The Secretary takes notes and publicizes minutes of these meetings for club members in a timely manner. Here is the role description:
The (up to) three other roles are categorized as Community Members. Community Members bring specific and professional expertise and experience to the club, supporting processes and committees as needed.Here is the role description:
